Amy Scruggs is a lot of things — and she does all of them well.
A nationally recognized media coach, communications strategist, TV host, and country recording artist, Amy has spent over two decades helping people find their voice — both on stage and on camera. Based in San Diego, she works with executives, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits across the country, coaching them to communicate with clarity, confidence, and real impact whether they're stepping in front of a camera, walking up to a podium, or showing up on a podcast.
Her client roster spans finance, healthcare, technology, and nonprofit leadership. She has served as Executive Media Coach for Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, and currently serves as Branding Coach for Elevated Lending — helping their team build a compelling, confident presence in today's competitive market. She also serves as Assistant Public Image Director for Rotary International, Zone 26. She's a keynote speaker, a Barnes & Noble bestselling author (Media Coaching for Professionals in Today's Digital World), and co-author of Pod Match Guest Mastery.
But Amy's story doesn't start in a boardroom — it starts on a stage. A proud Gen Xer and Nashville recording artist, she's shared the spotlight with country legends like Clint Black, Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels, and Phil Vassar. Her 2022 single "What If It All Goes Right" climbed the Music Row Charts and landed on the New York Times Summer 2022 playlist. She still performs live with her band the Ghostriders, led by her son Ryan — who's been by her side on lead guitar since he was 18.
